Fun Food Find Friday!!

With summer coming that means it's time for Carnivals, and Fairs to go to. My kids always want the Cotton Candy when we go to those types of places. So when I found this Organic Cotton Candy by Spun City, I had to order some to see what it was like. It tasted just like any Cotton Candy you would by anywhere. The only ingredient is evaporated cane juice and flavoring.

Why I Started this Blog,

I am a stay at home mom. 3 weeks after my youngest was born I was hospitalized with gall stones and pancreatitis. We tried to save my gallbladder for nine months but failed and it was removed. I haven't been able to eat true fats (butter, olive oil, etc.) since the first attack which was Dec. 2007. Since then I've also encountered other health problems. For a three month period my body could only handle baby food. Right now I am gluten intolerant and my body can't handle very much dairy, and I LOVE cheese! Because of this I've really had to study and figure out how to change recipes and make healthy food taste good again. To be honest it has been a lot of fun with some frustrations too. I've had many people want my recipes and suggested starting a blog. So here I am sharing what I have learned with you. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have, and happy HEALTHIER eating!
